Got a tenor ukulele for my birthday this year, so here’s a recording to show for it.
I still need to work on my strumming patterns to get the clean resonant sound, as it feels quite different from a guitar. But this instrument’s sound is definitely a step up from the $25 one we bought off Trademe (now Eden’s toy). Definitely no Jake Shimabukuro though…
Now our family instrument collection includes 3 guitars, 2 ukuleles and a mandolin!
Legend! Happy birthday bro. 😀 That’s sounding really good for something you just got (though I guess having experience with a guitar and a smaller uke probably helps just a bit eh? Haha). I’ve had a ukulele for a while now but I haven’t had the time to practice enough to be good. 🙁
